On Thursday afternoon the Belleville Police Service received reports of a shooting on Pine St. At around 1:50pm. The suspect in question is a black male, approximately 5'10" in height and was wearing a black hoodie.
A male in his 30's was taken to BGH (Belleville General Hospital) with gunshot wounds and is currently in unknown condition.
Multiple schools in the area were placed on a secure and hold until 3pm approximately.
The direction of the suspects travel is currently unknown and if you see anyone matching the above description, Belleville Police are asking anyone with information to give them a call at 613-962-3456 or report it to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS
