Belleville Police Seek Witnesses Following Serious Collision on Old Highway 2

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious two-vehicle collision that occurred in the early morning hours of October 19th on Old Highway 2.
Shortly before 3:00 a.m., emergency crews responded to reports of a crash involving a Honda Civic and a Chevrolet Cruze.
Upon arrival, officers found both vehicles with extensive damage.
Paramedics and firefighters were already on scene providing aid to three individuals.
One person was transported to hospital in critical condition, while two others sustained minor injuries.
Preliminary investigation indicates the Honda Civic crossed into the westbound lane and collided head-on with the Chevrolet Cruze.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., particularly motorists with dashcam footage or surveillance video, to contact Detective Sergeant Charbonneau at 613-966-0882 ext. 4144 or email mcharbonneau@bellevilleps.ca.
