Belleville Man Arrested After West End Stabbing Investigation

A 56-year-old Belleville man has been arrested and charged following a stabbing investigation in the city’s west end.
According to information released by Belleville Police today, officers responded to an apartment complex on May 16th at approximately 10:00 a.m. after receiving a call for service regarding a stabbing.
Police say further investigation revealed that an altercation had taken place involving multiple individuals. Two people were transported to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Belleville Police Criminal Investigations Division arrested and charged 56-year-old Kyle Allin with:
Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
Assault with a weapon.
Police say Allin was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in June.
