In a media release issued today, Cobourg police have provided an update on an investigation involving a 32-year-old Belleville man. He is now facing multiple charges following allegations of construction fraud involving two businesses in the east end of Cobourg.

A Cobourg man has been arrested and charged following an investigation involving alleged child sexual abuse and drug trafficking. According to the Cobourg Police Service, the investigation began in April 2026 after police received a report of an alleged sexual assault.

In a media release issued yesterday, Belleville Police say a 27-year-old Belleville man is facing multiple weapons charges after officers responded to a reported firearm-related altercation in the city’s east end.
