A two-vehicle collision has resulted in the closure of Highway 30 just outside of Campbellford. Emergency crews responded to the scene earlier today, where the crash prompted fire crews to assist with shutting down the roadway due to heavy fog in the area, which has significantly reduced visibility for motorists.

Family members and police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing youth from the Madoc area. Remi Leduc-Blakely, 14, has been reported missing. He is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a slim build.

According to police, the investigation began on February 11, 2026, after officers received a report alleging that a child had been assaulted by an employee associated with a before-and-after school program in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
