Belleville Man Arrested on Warrant for Sexual Offences Involving Person Under 16

A 29-year-old Belleville man was arrested early Sunday morning after Belleville Police located him in connection with an outstanding arrest warrant involving multiple alleged sexual offences against a person under the age of 16.
At approximately 2:00 a.m. on August 16th, 2026, Belleville Police officers observed a parked vehicle associated with a man who was wanted on an outstanding Belleville Police Service arrest warrant.
The warrant included the following charges:
Invitation to Sexual Touching Under 16 Years of Age
Sexual Interference
Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16 Years of Age
Officers located the wanted man a short time later and placed him under arrest on the strength of the outstanding warrant.
The 29-year-old Belleville man was subsequently held in custody for a bail hearing.
