Belleville Man Charged Following Internet Child Exploitation Investigation

A 28-year-old Belleville man has been arrested and charged following an investigation by the Belleville Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
According to police, the arrest was made on August 7th, 2026, following an investigation conducted by the specialized unit into alleged offenses involving child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
As a result of the investigation, the 28-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:
Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
Transmitting child sexual abuse and exploitation material
Following his arrest, the accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
