Belleville Resident Charged with Multiple Sexual Offences Following Child Luring Investigation

A Belleville resident is facing multiple charges following a child luring investigation led by the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police.


According to police, the investigation began in mid-March after reports were received involving alleged luring and sexual offences. Officers launched an investigation, which has now resulted in charges being laid.


As a result, 32-year-old Kaitlin Farrell of Belleville has been charged with several offences under the Criminal Code, including;

  • sexual assault on a person under the age of 16

  • sexual interference

  • luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication

  • invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age.
