Belleville Woman Charged With Impaired Driving

Belleville Police have charged a 39-year-old woman following a suspected impaired driving investigation in the city’s east end.
On July 28th, 2026, at approximately 2:23 p.m., officers responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver.
Police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. While speaking with the driver, officers reportedly observed signs of impairment.
As a result of the investigation, Ashley Ali, a 39-year-old Belleville woman, was arrested and charged with:
Operation while impaired - alcohol
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg
Ali was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in September.
