In-N-Out Snackz aims to reopen by Friday after exterior fire damage
A fire broke out earlier today, Monday, July 21, at In‑N‑Out Snackz, an international snack shop located at the corner of Front Street and Moira Street in downtown Belleville. Emergency crews were quick to respond and managed to bring the situation under control without incident.
The fire was limited to the exterior of the building. No injuries were reported, and the shop’s inventory and interior space were unaffected. Firefighters remained on-site after the flames were extinguished to conduct safety checks and ensure the building was fully secure.
Fire prevention officials have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire, which remains undetermined at this time.
Although the building suffered visible exterior damage, the owners of In‑N‑Out Snackz have already begun the cleanup process. They are optimistic about reopening by Friday, July 25, pending final inspections and repairs.
Due to the fire, Front Street has been temporarily closed to vehicle traffic between Victoria Avenue and the municipal parking entrance. Pedestrian access remains open, and nearby businesses continue to operate as usual.
Community members have shown strong support online, with many expressing sympathy and encouragement for the business owner. There is clear anticipation for the store’s return later this week.
In‑N‑Out Snackz is known for offering a wide range of imported snacks from around the world. The store has earned a loyal following for its unique selection and vibrant downtown presence. Once repairs are completed and the space is cleared for reopening, customers are encouraged to stop by and show their support.
Let’s rise together, Belleville, and help bring In‑N‑Out Snackz back stronger than ever.
