Couch Crescent in Trenton has been closed due to flooding on Sunday evening.
Officials say Couch Crescent between Ontario Street and Bay Street was shut down as of approximately 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8th, after water began covering the roadway.
Motorists and pedestrians are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes while conditions persist.
City staff with the City of Quinte West are continuing to monitor the situation. The roadway will reopen once water levels recede and it is safe for travel.
No timeline has been provided for when the road will reopen.
Residents are encouraged to share this update to help inform others in the community who may travel through the area.
Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
