Three individuals were arrested and charged following the investigation.

Both men were additionally charged with failing to comply with probation orders.

All three individuals were released on undertakings with future court dates.

A fourth individual, identified as 34-year-old Fraser Einarsson of Cobourg, was arrested and faces several additional charges, including:

  • Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance - fentanyl

The investigation was conducted by the Cobourg Police Service Street Crime Enforcement Unit, which focuses on drug trafficking, organized criminal activity, repeat offenders, and emerging crime trends throughout the community.

The unit works alongside frontline officers, regional policing partners, and the Crime Analytics Unit to identify criminal activity and support targeted enforcement efforts.

Police are encouraging residents to report suspicious activity or suspected drug trafficking in their neighbourhoods.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cobourg Police Service. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.stopcrimehere.ca.

Police say timely reporting helps investigators identify emerging trends, support ongoing investigations, and direct resources to areas where they are most needed.
