Harassment, Intoxication and Warrants Keep Belleville Police Busy

Belleville Police responded to several incidents across the city between the morning of July 27th and the early hours of July 28th, resulting in arrests connected to criminal harassment, public intoxication and outstanding warrants.
Prince Edward County Woman Charged With Criminal Harassment
On July 27th, 2026, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Belleville Police responded to a business parking lot in the city’s north end following a report of harassment.
A male told police that he had been followed by vehicles throughout the morning. When officers arrived, they observed a suspected vehicle in the parking lot and spoke with the occupant.
Following an investigation, police learned that a female had allegedly been following the male while attempting to locate his residence.
She was also accused of driving aggressively through the parking lot and using her vehicle to block the male’s vehicle.
As a result of the July 27th investigation, Pamela McConkey, a 52-year-old Prince Edward County woman, was arrested and charged with:
Criminal harassment
McConkey was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in October.
Intoxicated Male Arrested Following West-End Disturbance
On July 27th, 2026, at approximately 5:14 p.m., Belleville Police responded to a disturbance at a business in the city’s west end.
Police were advised that an unknown male was causing a disturbance at the location. Upon arrival, officers reportedly observed that the male was intoxicated.
The male left the business but continued yelling in the street and causing a disturbance. Police said he later stopped in front of a residence and began yelling at the occupants.
As a result of the July 27th incident, a 36-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged under the Liquor Licence and Control Act with:
Being intoxicated in a public place
He was later released from police custody once sober.
Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrant
On July 27th, 2026, at approximately 6:16 p.m., Belleville Police observed a female in the area of Bridge Street West who was known to have an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Belleville Police Service.
As a result, Pamela Sager, a 53-year-old Belleville woman of no fixed address, was arrested on July 27th on the strength of the outstanding warrant.
She was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in October.
Multiple Warrants Lead to West-End Arrest
On July 27th, 2026, at approximately 10:33 p.m., Belleville Police responded to another call for service in the city’s west end.
Police received a report that an unknown female was inside the lobby of an apartment complex. Officers arrived, located the female and learned that she was wanted on multiple outstanding arrest warrants issued by the Belleville Police Service.
As a result, Tamara Johnston, a 57-year-old Belleville woman, was arrested on July 27th on the strength of the outstanding warrants.
She was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in October.
Second Public Intoxication Arrest Made Early July 28th
On July 28th, 2026, at approximately 3:26 a.m., Belleville Police responded to a call for service in the area of North Front Street, where officers spoke with a male and a female.
Police reportedly observed that the male was intoxicated.
He refused to return home and became uncooperative with officers.
As a result of the July 28th incident and for his own safety, the 30-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged under the Liquor Licence and Control Act with:
Being intoxicated in a public place
He was later released from police custody once sober.
