UPDATE: August 22nd: 10:10a.m: Rita was spotted near Loyalist and Montrose Rd, according to a possible tip to her owner Betty Barr this morning.
Attention Belleville residents: please keep an eye out for Rita, a border collie mix who went missing on Saturday, August 16th, 2025. She slipped away after a gate was left open at a Doggy DayCare in Belleville.
Despite extensive searches, Rita has not yet been found. Her family is asking for your help.

Do NOT chase or try to grab herĀ ā sheās friendly but very scared and may run
Note the time, location, and directionĀ she was heading.
Report sightings immediatelyĀ so her family and search teams can respond quickly.
