Highway 401 Westbound Closed at County Road 6 in Odessa Following Two-Vehicle Collision

Update: As of 2:13p.m the collision has been cleared
All westbound lanes of Highway 401 are currently closed at County Road 6 in Odessa following a two-vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Police say the tractor-trailer is blocking all westbound lanes, prompting a full closure of the highway while emergency crews work at the scene. Heavy Rescue has been requested to assist with clearing the collision and reopening the roadway.
At this time, no injuries have been reported.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and expect significant delays, as traffic remains stopped while crews assess the scene and remove the vehicles.
