July 21, 2025 – Northumberland OPP Seeking Suspect in $9,000 Ring Theft
The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to a high-value theft at a commercial property in Brighton.
At approximately 6:40 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025, officers responded to a report of a theft on Telephone Road in the Municipality of Brighton. According to the complainant, a jewelry ring valued at over $9,000 was stolen during a scheduled online marketplace transaction.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene before officers arrived and has not yet been located. Police have now released an image of the individual in hopes that the public can assist in identifying them.
The Northumberland OPP continues to investigate the incident, which is recorded under incident number E250969447.
