Major Drug and Firearm Bust in Belleville Leads to Eight Arrests

A major drug and firearm investigation in Belleville has resulted in the seizure of multiple loaded firearms, large quantities of illicit drugs, and cash.
The results of the investigation were made public later in the day on June 17th, 2026 through a media release issued by the Belleville Police Service. The operation involved members of the Intelligence and Street Crime Unit, K9 Unit, Emergency Response Unit, and the Ontario Provincial Police’s Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) East.
The investigation began on June 15th, 2026 when officers conducted a vehicle stop near North Park Street and Bell Boulevard. During this stop, police seized significant quantities of drugs, cash, and firearms, including:
Taurus G2S 9mm handgun (loaded)
Glock 27 .40 calibre handgun (loaded)
212.2 grams of cocaine
117.8 grams of fentanyl
81 pills unknown
35 Xanax pills
71 TEC pills
17 oxycodone pills
$8,305 Canadian currency
Cell phones
Following the vehicle stop, officers executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants at a motel in Belleville’s north end, where additional drugs and cash were seized:
31.4 grams of cocaine
24.1 grams of methamphetamine
0.6 grams of fentanyl
$138.25 Canadian currency
The investigation continued on June 16th, 2026 when police executed additional Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants in Belleville and one in Plainfield.
These searches resulted in a significant seizure of firearms, ammunition, drugs, and cash.

Police noted that one of the seized firearms was located inside a hidden compartment during the investigation and was discovered with the assistance of Belleville Police Service Dog, Bax. 🐕🦺
In total, the investigation resulted in the seizure of more than 2.3 kilograms of fentanyl, over 470 grams of cocaine, multiple firearms, a large quantity of ammunition, a range of controlled substances, and approximately $27,000 in suspected proceeds of crime.
