Male Arrested Following Internet Child Exploitation Investigation in Belleville

A 30-year-old Belleville man has been arrested and charged following an investigation by the Belleville Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
Police say the arrest took place on Friday, April 10th, 2026, after an investigation into alleged online offences involving a minor.
The accused has been charged with:
Luring a person under the age of 18
Making child sexual abuse and exploitation material
Exposure to a person under the age of 16
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
His name has been withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
