Update, December 26th, 2025: Annie has been found and is now at home. Thank you all for your reported sightings and for your efforts that brought her home.
A family is urgently asking for the public’s help to locate a missing dog following a collision on Christmas Day.
According to the owner, the incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on December 25, 2025, near the Highway 37 intersection just north of the 401 (East Moira exit area). While everyone in the vehicle, including another dog named Oakley, was unharmed, one dog fled the scene during the aftermath of the collision.
🐾 Dog Details
Name: Annie
Size: Small, approximately 10 lbs
Colour: White and grey
Clothing: Red Grinch pajamas (from Walmart)
Temperament: Very timid, may run if startled
Annie reportedly ran toward Highway 401 and into nearby wooded areas. After an extensive search lasting about an hour, she was allegedly spotted in the Industrial Park area around Saint Theresa’s at 5:42 PM

Please do not approach as she could be scared into running to another location
