OPP Searching for Suspect After Armed Robbery and Vehicle Theft in Picton

The Prince Edward County OPP is asking for the community’s help after an armed robbery and vehicle theft at a downtown Picton gas station early Saturday morning.
Just before 1:30 a.m. on November 22, 2025, a male suspect entered the station, reportedly carrying a handgun. After taking items from the business, he fled in a stolen vehicle, leaving staff and the community shaken.
Several OPP units including the Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, and Lennox & Addington OPP, immediately worked together to track down the stolen vehicle, which was located and seized not long after the incident.
The suspect has not yet been found. He is described as:
White male
About 6'0" tall with a large build
Brown curly hair
Wearing a red hoodie with white writing, tan pants, and black shoes
The Prince Edward County OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation and hopes the community will come forward with any information that may help bring closure to this troubling event.
