Riding for Our Troops in Quinte West

This Saturday, June 7th, 2025, the City of Quinte West will echo with the powerful roar of 2,000 motorcycles as the Honour Roll Motorcycle Ride takes to the streets, it's a thunderous tribute to the brave men and women of Canada’s Armed Forces.
The ride, organized to honour the sacrifices and service of our troops, will depart from the Quinte West Operations Centre on North Murray Street at 11:30 a.m. sharp. From there, the cavalcade will follow Hamilton Road westbound, head north on Sidney Street, and merge onto the westbound 401.
This moving tribute is more than a show of chrome and horsepower; it’s a reflection of national gratitude, unity, and unwavering Canadian pride.
To ensure the safety of participants and the public, temporary road closures will be in effect along the route. Motorists can expect delays for approximately 30 minutes and are encouraged to use alternate routes or practice patience as OPP officers assist the riders in reaching the highway safely.
“This event is about more than motorcycles. It’s about honour, recognition, and the kind of patriotism that moves people — literally and emotionally,” said Provincial Constable A. Howat, Quinte West Media Relations Officer.
As the engines rev and the flags wave, residents are invited to line the streets, cheer proudly, and wear red to show support for those who’ve worn the uniform. Let this ride serve as a reminder: freedom isn’t free, and honour is never out of style.
