Stirling Man Charged Following Impaired Driving Investigation in Belleville

A 35-year-old Stirling man is facing multiple charges after Belleville Police responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver on May 30th.
According to police, officers were called to the city's east end at approximately 8:10 p.m. regarding concerns about a driver who may have been operating a vehicle while impaired.
Following an investigation, police located the suspect vehicle and arrested Dillon Detlor, age 35, of Stirling.
Detlor has been charged with:
Operation while impaired - alcohol
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg
Care or control of a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor under the Liquor Licence Control Act
Police said the accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in July to answer to the charges.
