Three Charged After Belleville Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust

Three people are facing multiple drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop in Belleville’s west end led police to allegedly discover drug paraphernalia and quantities of controlled substances.
On August 11th, 2026, at approximately 7:19 p.m., members of the Belleville Police Service conducted a traffic stop in the city’s west end.
While speaking with the driver and passengers, officers observed an open can of alcohol in the back seat of the vehicle. Upon further investigation, police reported locating drug paraphernalia along with quantities of controlled substances.
Three people were subsequently arrested, with each accused facing charges related to the alleged possession of opioids, methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
