Three Charged Following OPP Drug Trafficking Investigation Across Eastern Ontario

In a recent media release issued May 19th. Police say that three people are facing charges following a drug trafficking investigation conducted by the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit.
According to information released by police, the investigation covered the Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, and Kingston areas. It led officers to conduct a traffic stop in Napanee and later execute a search warrant in Whitby.
Police say those charged include a 41-year-old from South Frontenac Township and two Whitby residents, aged 34 and 33.
As part of the investigation, officers seized significant quantities of suspected drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine, MDMA and other substances. Police also reported the seizure of firearms, a stolen vehicle and Canadian currency.

The investigation remains part of the OPP’s ongoing efforts to address illegal drug activity across eastern Ontario communities.
