Three people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries following a three-vehicle collision on Highway 401 in Kingston Wednesday evening.
Frontenac Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the crash in the westbound lanes east of Sydenham Road just after 5:30 p.m. on October 29. Frontenac Paramedics and the Kingston Fire Department were also on scene to assist.
According to police, a 27-year-old man from Laval, Quebec, has been charged with careless driving and for operating a vehicle with windows obstructed by excessively dark tint.
While Highway 401 remained open to traffic, temporary lane closures were in place as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
