Touch A Truck Rolls Into Quinte West to Support Local Families in Need

Big rigs, diggers, and dump trucks will be taking over Connon Nurseries on Saturday, July 19 as the Upper Canada Chapter of Landscape Ontario hosts its annual Touch A Truck charity event in support of the Community Development Council of Quinte.
Organized by local landscaping professionals, this hands-on, family-friendly event gives children and adults alike the chance to explore real construction, landscaping, and emergency vehicles up close. From honking the horn to climbing inside, it’s an opportunity to get behind the wheel of the machines that help build and maintain our communities.

“We’re excited to bring Touch A Truck back this year,” said Christopher Petit, Board Member of Landscape Ontario’s Upper Canada Chapter and owner of Petit Landscaping. “It’s a fun day for families, and more importantly, it helps support programs that feed and uplift local residents.”
About the Cause
Proceeds from the event will go to the Community Development Council of Quinte, a longstanding organization that tackles food insecurity, housing, and community support services across the region.
