Two Belleville Youths Charged Following Assault

Two 15-year-old Belleville females have been charged following an assault involving several youths in the city’s north end.
On June 21st, 2026, at approximately 7:27 p.m., Belleville Police responded to a report of an assault.
Police were advised that three female youths had become involved in a verbal altercation with another youth earlier that evening.
The confrontation reportedly escalated into a physical assault.
Officers reviewed video footage of the incident and were able to identify the individuals believed to have been involved.
As a result of the investigation, police located and arrested two 15-year-old Belleville females. Both youths were charged with assault.
The identities of the accused are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and cannot be published.
Both youths were released on Undertakings and are scheduled to appear in court in September.
