Two Campbellford Residents Charged Following OPP Drug Trafficking Investigation

Two Campbellford residents are facing multiple charges following an Ontario Provincial Police drug trafficking investigation that resulted in the seizure of suspected cocaine, cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Members of the Peterborough/Northumberland Community Street Crime Unit, with assistance from the OPP Canine Unit, arrested two people in Campbellford on August 20th.
Police said officers seized suspected cocaine and Canadian currency during the arrests. One of the individuals was also allegedly found in possession of a prohibited device.
A third person was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.
As the investigation continued, officers executed search warrants at two Campbellford residences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
During the searches, police located another person wanted on an outstanding warrant and seized an additional quantity of suspected cocaine.

In total, police reported seizing:
Approximately 25 grams of suspected cocaine
$345 in Canadian currency
Drug trafficking paraphernalia
Charges
Danielle Girard, 37, of Campbellford, has been charged with:
Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Ronald Trafford, 46, of Campbellford, has been charged with:
Possession of cocaine
Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
Both Girard and Trafford are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in November.
Police did not provide further details regarding the two individuals taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
