Update: The Highway has been reopened

A two-vehicle collision has resulted in the closure of Highway 30 just outside of Campbellford.

Emergency crews responded to the scene earlier this afternoon, where the crash prompted fire crews to assist with shutting down the roadway due to heavy fog in the area, which has significantly reduced visibility for motorists.

The closure remains in place while emergency services manage the scene and ensure the safety of those involved.

Authorities report that injuries sustained in the collision are believed to be non-life-threatening.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes until the roadway can safely reopen.

Further updates may be provided as more information becomes available.
