Emergency services responded to a serious two-vehicle collision on Highway 37 near Belleville, Ontario earlier today leading to a closure of the highway between Hoskins road and Latta road.
Drivers have started to be rerouted and guided along the posted detours.
The accident resulted in two individuals sustaining injuries, one of whom is in critical condition.
The incident prompted a swift response from local emergency crews. Upon arrival, responders assessed two patients at the scene. One individual was reported as vital signs absent (VSA), indicating a life-threatening condition. Both patients were transported to the nearest hospital for further treatment.
