UPDATE: Additional Charges Laid Against Kingston Police Service Member

The Belleville Police Service has issued an update today, March 31st, 2026, confirming additional charges in an ongoing investigation involving a member of the Kingston Police Service.
Police say the investigation first led to charges on February 11th, 2026, when the officer was charged with criminal harassment.
Following further investigation and additional allegations brought forward by the complainant, the member was arrested again on March 24th, 2026, and now faces additional charges, including:
Sexual assault
Assault
The accused has since been released on an undertaking with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Police have stated that no further details will be released, in order to protect the identity and privacy of the complainant.
