Water Truck Rolls Over In Belleville

Update: All roads have reopened as of 1:02 a.m., June 16th, 2026.
Emergency crews responded Monday evening after a transport water truck overturned at the intersection of Walbridge Loyalist Road and Hamilton Road.
The incident occurred shortly before 6:00 p.m., leaving the large truck on its side and completely blocking the roadway. Police, fire crews, and paramedics quickly arrived on scene to assess the situation and secure the area.
The driver of the water truck reportedly suffered only minor injuries and was assessed by paramedics at the scene.
As a result of the incident, Walbridge Loyalist Road has been fully closed between Moira Street West and Hamilton Road while emergency personnel manage the scene and crews work to remove the overturned vehicle.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes as delays are expected. It is not yet known what caused the truck to overturn, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
The closure is expected to remain in place for several hours while cleanup is underway.
