A month long drug trafficking investigation by the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit has resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of drugs, weapons, and suspected proceeds of crime.
According to Kingston Police, the investigation began in the spring of 2026 after officers received information regarding individuals allegedly involved in the trafficking of fentanyl within the city.
As the investigation progressed, officers obtained a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act for a residence located on Montreal Street in Kingston.
On Thursday, June 4, members of the Kingston Police Emergency Response Unit executed the warrant. Two occupants of the residence were taken into custody without incident and transported to Kingston Police Headquarters.
During a search of the home, investigators seized quantities of fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine, along with a digital scale, drug packaging materials, and cash believed to be proceeds of crime. Police also recovered a conducted energy weapon and replica firearms.
A 34-year-old individual and a 38-year-old individual have each been charged with multiple offences, including: three counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and several weapons-related offences.
Kingston Police have not released the names of the accused at this time. If they do, we will be sure to update this article.

Both accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice.
“Public safety remains our highest priority,” said Chief Adam MacIntosh. “This investigation demonstrates the continued dedication of our officers to disrupting the distribution of dangerous substances in Kingston. We will continue to prioritize these efforts and work closely with the community to support the safety and well-being of all residents.”
Kingston Police say they remain committed to identifying and arresting those responsible for drug trafficking offences within the city. Anyone with information regarding drugs or weapons is encouraged to submit a report through the Kingston Police online reporting portal or contact police directly at 613-549-4660.
